Skinks

Hello everyone!

I’m new to AoS. I’ve start 2 armies (Seraphon for me and Idoneth Deepkin for my son)

I have started building a “Start Collecting Skinks” and I’d like to know how do you arm your Skinks and why?

Any help in this would be much appreciated!

Welcome aboard, @Quetzalcoatlus , nice avatar you have.

Barring specific builds, I usually give them buckler and boltspitter.
Save 5+ that can be easily increased to 4+ is nice and more range is almost always better when you are playing a squishy unit.
if you play them in units of 10, then it doesn't really matter because you are not going to damage anything, but with 30 skinks, buffed by a starpriest, you are going to need range and anyway you want to fish MWs on 6s.

the option with ranged weapon and club can be valid if you play starborne and plan to exploit the with MWs output both in shooting and melee.

I was thinking on the boltspitters so I’ll go with that.

I’m going with Thunder Lizards I feel, the big Dinos are what drew me in so it makes sense.
