AoS Skinks SC box modelling question

Hey everyone, I'm putting together the Skinks SC box right now and I have a question about a bunch of the left over bits. As far as I can tell there are tons of little pieces left over from the Terradons/Rippers that are just extra, like little ornamentations and that little frog and stuff. I ended up using some greenstuff to secure my terradons to their bases, and I wanted to glue some of these extra bits to the basing to integrate the shape of the greenstuff into the details of the base, but will I be screwing myself over if I use some of these pieces? They don't seem to be used in any of the other models but I just wanted to make sure!

Are you building Terradon or Ripperdactyles? It totally slipped my mind that little toad buddy is a buff marker for the bloat toad. That being said, you can use pretty much anything on a 25mm base as the blot toad.
