AoS Skinks Loadout

Hey!
What do you prefer? I want to build my Skinks but struggle with the Options..

Skinks with Boltspitter and star-buckler or
Skinks with Boltspitter and Moonstone Club?


Since they only shoot and retreat in Close combat i dont see the Point in extra melee attacks.
So i would prefer the first loadout.

Even I think clearly the first is the way to go... you already mentioned the reason in your post...

Unless we get a skink chief back, or otherwise get some significant melee buffs for skinks the clubs are really only ever going to add anything if you take skinks with boltspitters/javalins + clubs and just send them on a suicide mission.... and even then it's probably not going to make that great a difference, not to mention it's a stupid idea....
