8th Ed. Skink Chief on Terradon build

I have tried a few. Skink Chief with staff of the sun (3x shots with 18inch range). I have tried that one a few times and it never works for me. You may have better luck than I do with it. When I take that build, the unit of terradons that I run the chief with usually outperforms the skink chief. I prefer to take some magic armor and either the gold sigil sword or the ASF sword on the chief. I alway run him within a unit of terradons though. I have tried the venom of the firefly frog as well. It works pretty good too as you reroll poisoned misses.

it costs a lot of points, and it doesnt really make the unit do anything differently. it can still only fight very light units and warmachines. nothing different really. i would rather spend my points on an extra unit of terradons, or some chameleons.
