7th Ed. skink army

im trying to run a mainly skink/stegadon army. right now i have 24 skinks, and an EOTG. im definetelly gonna get some more skinks, probably just another 24. i really like chameleons, so im thinking of getting like 10 of them, and converting oxyotl. that will bring me to roughly 1000 pts. that should cost alittle under 100 bucks if im right. that means i have probably close to 80 bucks left. now is where you guys come in. what do i buy?

ps: can you run a slann in a 1500 point army?

No u cannot as a slaan is a lord which are only available once at 2000 points games... but for those 500 points i recommend getting some saurus warriors (atleast some of them) some terradons or maybe something else deadly from afar like razors/ sallies

i could put in another stegadon, right? then i could put in a slaan to finish off the points... that be about 2000 points. i think that would be a decent list against a 2k dwarves list. i have it all planned out. oxyotl takes out the runelord on the anvil of doom, chameleons take out his cannons, then 1 stegadon charge in to finish his strong units off, while my skinks flee from charges, and rally next turn, then i kill his thunderers with the other stegadon to kill thunderers and other range. then skinks are free to wipe out everyone. my comets will kill anything else necesary. will that work? id buy saurus warriors, but i like to run a sotek list. eventually i will start using tenehuain.

sadly in this game everything doesnt go that according to plan but ya its a good list and plan, interesting thoughts though... wouldn't terradons be good for taking out there war machines????? He might plan for chameleons...

well based on the fact that hes never played against lizardmen, and that im not showing him my list until the beginning of the game, he will never expect it. i tried terradons once , but they failed horribly. i dont really trust them to be honest. id prefer using chameleons to snipe the crew out. then its immobile, and cant fire, so im cool with that.
