AoS Shadowstrike Starhost and Terradon Riders

Hey guys !

So I was wandering :

Do the Terradons riders only benefit from the "Trap is sprung" at the shooting phase ?

Since they have the "Swooping Dive" ability at combat phase and are already rerolling ALL hits and ALL wounds, I guess the reroll of 1s doesn't really provide anything new to them at the combat phase.
Am I missing something here ?

That's how I read it as well.

I think the re-roll 1's is more for the other units, it allows them to target something else whilst your flyers go after a unit

That were my thoughts exactly when I realised that this might be the case. But asking advice from experienced players is something I 'm always fond of doing as I get to learn the most things ! Thank you very much @LordRibbit !

Yeah, trap is sprung is meant to target something with your shooters, while your flyers go in for something else.
