AoS Salamanders - it burns

Hi y’all

so if you roll a 6 to hit for a salamanders burning jaws or stream of fire attacks does the attack sequence end after MWs are allocated for all 4 or 3 dice rolled or just the dice that land on a 6?

probs a daft question but the wording isn’t clear.

Any 6s to hit you roll do d3 mortals and stop. Any other hits follow attack sequence as normal. Roll wounds and saves as you normally would.
