1. What armor save do the Ripperdactyls use?
2. In close combat do I use the Ripperdactyls thougness or the skinks?
3. Do they have any bonuses in close combat because they are flying?

When being attacked the Rippers (and any other multipart model except Characters on Monsters) use the best Armor, Weapon Skill, Toughness, and Wounds value on the model.

So, Rippers use the Rippers WS, T, and W but the Skink's armor save (4+).

When doing the attacking, each part of the model uses their own Weapon Skill and Strength.

The Flying ability doesn't give you any combat bonuses. But Flyers do get to pursue with the best 2 rolls of 3d6. However, there are some items that characters can take (but I've rarely seen them taken) that can give Flyers a disadvantage in combat (Scarecrow Banner <-- no effect on our Fear causing Flyers, Pigeon Plucker Pendant)

1) They have an armour save value of 4. 2 for the skink (shield + scales) and 1 for being mounted.
2) The highest toughness - 3 from the beast. Not that it's much anyway.
3) Not directly, no, but they do get a stomp from being monstrous cavalry.

thx

Does the blot toad jump over to a new unit if the old unit dies?
Because its written that it remains throughout the battle.

I think the toad stays with the one unit you place it on and if you destroy the unit the toad is gone (probably the Rippers tear it to shreds when they get ahold of it)
