AoS Quick 1000 Point list

So, my buddy is getting married and we're bringing some models to play the day before. He lives out of town and he doesn't play much. I'll be facing Skaven and more than likely Chaos so I came up with this.

1 x Eternity Warden
15 x Saurus Guard
30 x Skinks (bolt spitters)
1 x Bastiladon.

Skaven can dish mortal wounds with cannons / throwers / stormfiends. So if you want to be a tryhard , is swap out the eternal starhost ( assuming you are taking the battalion). If it's just a fun game, go for it

What if I swapped the mass of skinks for some razordons or salamanders instead? Whilst taking the starhost (which admittedly i forgot was a thing). So it'd be:

1 x Eternity Warden (Phoenix Stone)
5 x Saurus Guard
5 x Saurus Guard
5 x Saurus Guard
Eternal Starhost
1 x Bastiladon
2 x Razordons
3 x Skink Handlers

You'd still get torn apart by the mortal wound output of those rats, 1000 points is pretty rough for us though so IMO if you like it run it.

I agree, go have fun with it. Depending on the list he brings, you will either roflstomped or do well

Keep the skinks! Put in as many skinks in there as you can! Run purely skinks! I find the shadowstrike formation works best at 1000pts, you've got the ripperdactyls to assassinate any monsters and the skinks to move quick and take out any skaven cannons that like to sit on objectives.

I'd go:
Skink starpriest
30 x skinks
10 x skinks
3 x ripperdactyls
Bastiladon (because they're great)
Shadowstrike

Make your bastiladon your general and give him master of defence or whatever you fancy and he'll be very hard to kill.
