7th Ed. Question about BSB and Skinks..

Well, I'm quite a newbie at warhammer and I'm just wondering what BSB means? Since I've seen it quite a lot in the other threads and such it nagged a bit on my curiosity.

Also I'm wondering if skinks have the stand-and-shoot ability?

BSB: Battle Standard Bearer

And yes, Skinks can Stand & Shoot (if they meet the requirements to do so).
