AoS Product Variety

Hey guys, it's a fairly simple question but I expect a number of answers. In my Start Collecting! box I got 5 Cold One Sprue 1's and 3 Sprue 4's. Is this normal and what you got? Is it totally random? Do you have to buy the separate Saurus Knight box to get Sprue's 2 and 3?

Given that the tails can't be switched but the heads can be there are potentially sixteen different variants if you had four of each Sprue. A shame they didn't make the tails swappable as that would have boosted variation up to 64!

I think the Cold Ones are the only ones that have this potential variation in sprue but I'd be interested to see if other units have similar variation in sprues.

Yay a reply, I was feeling lonely lol. Yeah I'm really just wondering if the choice of the four sprues is totally random or if you have to buy the separate box to get all four sprue choices, mainly as my next purchase will be a second Start Collecting! kit.

I do love that the sheer number of variants for their riders though means that no two will ever be the same. Ignoring special options like Alpha head or banner/drum models there are 800 possible combos of pieces for either lance or club models so 1600 total. The Alpha has 400 possible combos and the banner has 320. Only the drummer gets boned with 32 choices as he doesn't get to use other arms. And all of that is before any accessory choices or converting oh and I haven't checked to see but if the legs aren't just two different options and the left/right sides are interchangeable then that doubles the number of options again.

I have some sprues of the Saurus Knight box, and the first ones I found was 2 and 3. It might as well be random, but I can't compare to my own Start Collecting box. It's as best as I can do right now!
