I have tried to compile a list with the new rules with a fighting slann...

Which lore are you going to take? And why not warbanner on Slann?
 
I am going to take battle magic for the skink with the signature spell for CQC and for the slann I am going to take illusion with spectral dopplganger, miasmic mirage, column of crystal and shimmering dragon to make the stegdon fly.
What do you think?
 
Isn't Sword of Battle quite useless with Spectral Doppelganger? The spell doesn't interact with extra attack at all. Ogre blade or Blade of Tzunki would be good choices for a murder frog.

I would definitely take Warbanner also for extra combat res.
 
You cannot charge with fly so is quite useless anyway. You need 2 rounds to come in position and charge later

Can’t work. I have tested the combat slann several times. it does not work. to block a dragon you need to have a lot of luck. also now he can't see 360 degrees anymore, so it's even worse

He means with the spell that gives fly, as it is a conveyance spell, you only get the fly move speed in remaining moves substep. So no charge with that fly move.
