8th Ed. Please help with army list

I started lizardmen and I have a tournament in two weeks that I'm in it is 4000 points. The problem is that I never played with lizards befor so any advice will be welcome. Well n my army I have a
stegadon
2 batleforces
a oldblood
3 preist
a bsb
2cheifs
a boxes of gaurd
and a box of Saurus.
Can you guys help with this list?

Ok, this may take a while but here goes.

Based on what you have got it should equal this:

Lords-Oldblood

Heros-Scar Vet (thats the BSB model), 2 Chiefs, 3 Priests

Core-56 Saurus, 24 Skinks

Special-30 Temple Guard, 16 Cold One Cavalry, Steg

First I'll tell you what you should get to add to this:
a slaan mage preist for a lord otherwise 30 Temple Guard is a HELL of a lot of points and they are best when protecting a slaan,
3 salamanders,
Chameleon Skinks

before equipment and items, what you have comes to, assuming those skinks are skirmishers is 2594 points.

I´d be glad to help you!
but THIS will be a long one:

you have one big problem dude, you need more models if you want 4000pts.
atm you can make a decent 3k list.

first, playing a 4k game without a slann will be hard. though I´m sure it´s possible.
you have much saurus, skinks, TG and CoC i see.
Tg might be useless without a slann, but they sure work well.
since you dont have any chamo skinks, use most of your skinks as skirmishers to take out warmachines.
CoC are very expensive, but they can really pay of!
skink priests are nice, 3 of them are even better.
oldblood will be great as army general, and the BSB (scar-vet) is awesome!
put a skink with eotg on the stegadon.
so here´s a list that could help you:

maybe buy another stegadon an some more saurus, that way you can get to 3500pts

scar-vet goes in the 29 big saurus unit, oldblood in TG
huge TG unit for the slann. go for 6x6 including slann and oldblood.
the small saurus unit is for the points.
it´s a shame that you dint have any salamanders, these are truly awesome against most armies.
if you manage to get some, exchange them with the small saurus unit.

Its pointless to have the scimitar because you can get something for ten points cheaper in the BrB that does the same thing

Well I never played with LM before so is their any advice on how to play them I was a nurgle deamon player so this is the first time I played an army with variety.
