7th Ed. Pesky Empire Shooting

I know this might have been mentioned before, but I was in need of help from Empire shooting. My friend has decided to go with very shooty Empire army. It not the cannons that are hurting me the most however, its the darn Hochland long rifles. There are about 8 to 10 scattered through the army, and my priest on steg keeps dieing. I was wondering if anyone had some tips to help with this and the standard problems when facing Empire gun lines.

A lot will depend on what point level you like to play, and what sorts of models you have at your disposal. What kind of terrain setup does your opponent usually favor?

For the most part chameleon skinks and terradons can start messing with gunlines early on.. and despite the EotG ward save it really is quite vulnerable to shooting. So I would say you should rethink your unit choices, although I have no idea what they are aside from the EotG. Personally I'd stay away from the EotG especially facing a gunline.
