AoS Painting guide for Bastilidon and Lord Kroak?

I don't have any official one, but if you have any questions, just ask. We do have a lot of painting experience here. :)

I want to do a brown lord kroak. How would you reccomend doing that? The rest of the model is pretty straightforward even if it is very detailed.

Also, how do you get the clear stand to stick to the base? Will the regular citadel glue that melts the plastic work for that as well?
 
I'm not sure about the plastic glue. I seem to remember hearing that it doesn't work. PVC glue is what I usually use, as super glue can sometimes cloud the clear plastics, making it look quite horrible.

As for a brown Kroak, what kind of brown? A dark brown? Khaki? Warm brown?

Dark brown. Like the standard one; I'm not very creative.
 
Of the top of my head, a simple way of doing that looks like:

Basecoat of Rhinox Hide or Dryad Bark
Shade with Agrax Earthshade.
Edge highlight with Baneblade Brown.
Extreme edge highlight with Karak Stone.

I used Army Painter colors, but my recipe is pretty similar.
Middle to dark brown, shade dark brown or black, highlight with light brown or bone.

(For a mummified frog that is. :D )
