What I think he means is, that if you charge your priest into combat and the spell is dispelled, maybe with a scroll the priest is dead.
If he stays out of combat when you cast it, then your opponent can use his power dice to dispel it at it's casting value (not what you rolled to cast it, but the 16+) and he could have just charged you, and can then easily kill the priest; Or just ignore it since it's not a threat anymore.
You use power dice to dispell Remains in Play spells like the Transformation, it should be under Remains in Play spells in the Magic section.I thought that you couldn't use power dice to dispel? I didn't see that anywhere in the BRB... Or am I blind?
(I thought that was the benefit of Drain Magic spell from HM?)
About the cannon, it is the best unit in their book.
Oh right, i was thinking about the Magma Cannon of the Chaos Dwarfs. the DP is of course their best unit. It is still among the better ones though imho, especially as cannons are good against us. It certainly is high variance, but if it does not explode in on itself, it is bound to do some damage. The hellcannon is a great unit, but it can be a little hit or miss. Most people would not list it as the best unit in the WoC roster. IMHO
Right, so LOL, LMFAO, etc.
My friend says we agreed Orcs & Gobbos for next game......
I told him fine, but as want a WoC rematch afterwards so I’ll use everything you guys have given in the game after that.
Time to start a new thread...
Yeah, the Magma Cannon is bloody accurate and highly effective. Even the Hellcannon is far superior in a Chaos Dwarf list due to the Daemonsmith's ability to re-roll the artillery dice or scatter dice.Oh right, i was thinking about the Magma Cannon of the Chaos Dwarfs. the DP is of course their best unit.
