Hi having recently come back to WFB i want to re-build my Lizards from a successful 7th ed list to a potential force in 8th ed. Having read through some excellent advice on this forum and considered my own style of play I have 2 lists in mind for your perusal. which do you think would work best? what might some of the challenges be to using each list, what units / characters will i need to look out for? Here goes:
LIST 1:
SLAAN, bsb, mystery, rumination, cogitation, cupped hands
SCAR-VET, piranha blade, scaly skin, shield, L.arm, dragon helm
22+2 SKROX, std, mus
23 SAURUS, spears, fc
16 TEMPLE GUARD, fc, sun standard
5 CHAMELEON SKINKS
5 CHAMELEON SKINKS
ANCIENT STEG
SALAMANDER
SALAMANDER
(bit worried about the slaan miscasting and detonating TG. any thoughts? what are the benefits to taking him with the TG and how would u use them?)
LIST 2:
SLANN, mystery, ruination, consciousness, feedback scroll, bane head, bsb, warbanner
SCAR VET (same as above)
23 SAURUS spears, fc
22 +2 SKROX std, mus
10 SKINK SKIRMISHERS
10 SKINK SKIRMISHERS
7 CHAMELEON SKINKS
7 CHAMELEON SKINKS
6 CHAMELEON SKINKS
ANCIENT STEG
SALAMANDER + HANDLER
SALAMANDER + HANDLER
(how do people use the lone slann tactically?)
