8th Ed. obvious question but need help

hey this is probably an obvious answer but i was wondering can you put a scarvet on cold one in a unit of saurus?
or is it only other models with the same base

You can put anything in anything as long as it's not a "monster".
If the base "footprint" doesn't match, then it has to tag along on the side of the unit. However, if the troop type is different (ie: a cavalry model in a unit of nfantry), the cavalry can not make a "look out sir".
