8th Ed. newbie, what do I buy next ???

Hi, I am a newbie in the world of warhammer. I am enjoying playing lizard men a lot and I have found a love for skinks. I have got about 40+ skinks, the battalion and a old blood on cold one, but I don't know what else to get, I need it to be a strong choice for lizardmen but also fun to use? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
P.S I play against skaven quite often
 
Salamanders are pretty fun against Skavens. And quite good overall against anything with 3 toughness.

Else... More kuraqs. Temple gards and a slann. Or terradons.
Try to balance your army between hitting power, magic, shooting, anvil and redirecting. Try to fulfill each of this equally and you shall rule the jungles.

What is a Kuraq? I've been a Lizardmen player for quite a while now, and have never a encountered the term until now.

An important bonus question: WHY?

It's not in the glossary either, and google turned up nothing.

From recent posts in other topics, I assume he is referring to Scar veterans, possibly just Saurus Characters. I have no idea how you can possibly get "Kuraq" from that, though.
 
Stegadons & Bastiladons are pretty fun! Cold One Cavalry are cool too -- dinosaurs riding dinosaurs? Awesome.

Otherwise, Rippers! Like 6 of 'em. Pretty unpredictable, but rarely unproductive. Toad Rage is a cool rule.
 
I think Kuraqs might have been an auto correct or text to speech mangling of Krox? They do synergize well with skinks in the fluff.

I had.... Wrongfuly I suppose, assumed that they would have the same name in the english version.

I shall from now on refer to them as scar veterans x).
