8th Ed. New update to GW???

Hard to say exactly what is going on. Maybe they're just putting up new pictures of all our models on round bases, but dunno.
 
Okay, that IS weird.
They also removed "seraphon" from races.
 
We've been feeling it for quite some time, I think they are updating the army :)
 
My guess: seraphon is the next order release.
Exciting to see if they ruined the aztec style for Lizardmarines.
 
Some tau or so with ancient weapons and lizard heads... And many many skulls... Don't wanna think about it...

scary development at first, but surely if they were going to discontinue someone it would be the brets, everyone knows GW hates them. hopefully they will be the next update as you guys have suggested. if not watching some panic pics on ebay at the moment XD

I just imagine how this would happen: Red lights turning on in the whole building and files are burned in the corridor. And some factory workers tossing the last models on stock into a big oven. While everywhere in the world man in black suits visit the game stores to collect all evidence of lizardmen having been sold there... Lol
 
cant wait to get my order in though haha i ordered oldblood on cold one and cav like 2 days ago and of course they decide to update it, would be cool to see if i get the updated shit and not the old stuff i dont mind either way though
 
I doubt you will get anything new, as the old units are a thing of the past.

My view om things: new "cold one riders" model will not be produced, it will be named something else and have very little to do with the original concept.
 
so is this all offical or jsut guessing? cos my friends tellin me not to worry and the only difference will be round bases, i didnt dun goof did i? cos i got the old shit hahaha

I actually used the name Scalenex before I started collecting Lizardmen. It's a made up name from a fiction piece I wrote when I was twelve and has nothing to do with scales. Though your point about about GW's hack fluff writing stands.
