AoS New to Seraphon 2k list

Hi all,

I have a few Seraphon models and just getting into AoS. I was just looking at what i had and i came up with the following list. Can you offer advice please? Thank you.

Looks like a nice list from the models you have. Since you field two starhosts, you can take two additional artefacts for your heroes.

I have played similar lists, and while it might not be super competitive it is fun to play and great to learn to play with different abilities and synergies.
If you can play the Priest as a Starpriest then summoning that one in the first turn could be a nice option to buff your Knights a bit more (Serpent Staff ability).

You have a solid start to your collection. My recommendation is less on list building and more about play style. Many players are over zealous with their Firelance Starhost. I would hold it back a turn and use it to counter attack the enemy advances. Saurus Knights are pretty bad when they aren't charging. Depending on the battleplan this might not be tenable, but it is ideal when possible.

As your collection expands you will better served by choosing to move into a Dracothion's Tail battalion (found GH2018) if you want to keep building your Saurus Knights list or by picking up a few boxes of Skinks and moving more heavily into Thunderquake Starhost.

Also i have another list i did up with the models i have. Its again the firelance Starhost and the eternal starhost. Im not too worried about being competitive right off the bat.

You have few bodies. At least one unit of knights should be composed by 10 of them, and groups of 5 guards are really too much small.
You could mitigate it a little, if we consider that you don't need skinks to cover the battleline slots, but those are only 120 saved points… 140 given those 20 pts that are already unused.

I would consider to use only one starhost with more power, and field also that block of 40 warriors you already have.
