8th Ed. New to Lizardmen

Okay, me and my buddy recently started Warhammer armies. I am Lizardmen (Of course) and he is Dwarfs. I bought the Lizardmen battle force and so far I have 12 Skink Skirmishers and 1 Skink Priest painted. I have played 40k before but never warhammer so I was wondering what units to buy next that would be effective against a Dwarf force. I was going to avoid building the Temple Guard that come with the battle force as I won't be reaching enough points to field a Mage-Priest anytime soon. So I was wondering what type of force would be effective against Dwarfs.

One last thing, I was reading the codex and the Slann are able to take a discipline called "Higher State of Consciousness" that makes him invulnerable to all normal attacks. Correct me if I'm wrong here but it seems like the Dwarfs are not a very magic heavy army so wouldn't my Slann be almost invincible to them?

Except for all the rune engraved cannonballs and weapons.
You might want to invest in some chamelions and Salamanders,
and saurus wariors are in just about every army list.

Nate is right on the money. Although the dwarves are lacking in magic, those runed weapons can cause alot of damage. Another unit you may want to look into is terradons. You need to get to those war machines quickly. Chameleons are ideal, but terradons are an option as well. Salamanders are a must now. You cannot go wrong with more saurus warriors as well. You could even put together and paint the TG, but proxy them for saurus until you get a frog.
