AoS New to AoS 3.0 help needed with Thunder Lizards

My 1st post in here so: Hi everyone!

During the pandemic, I started painting some dinosaur folks and with the new edition, I decided it's time to put them on to the battlefield to spill blood for the old ones But as this is my 1st army ever I need some help.

I decided to go for the thunder lizards for the main reason: I want to justify putting so many good-looking dinos on the list. But that's why I need your opinion, I'm still not sure if having Troglodon and Carnosaur is a good idea.

Another thing I need is a small advice on what artifacts to choose.

First of all, welcome aboard!

regarding the list, the first thing i notice is the lack of a Slann. I'm not sure you can afford its loss, especially if you field a troglodon (which by itself is a suboptimal choice, pluse loses its only saving grace of acting as arcane vessel)

So Slann instead of troglodon? But does he need protection like Guards or Astrolith Bearer?

It's a good option. With slann as a sub-commander, I can fit Vanguard Battalion if I split Knights into two groups of 5. Nice.
