AoS NEW Skink Heroes at the Compendium published !!!

I hope it is.. else we can only use them
In combination with the 'Order' keyword...

The Skink chief command ability also is missing..

No new abilities and artifacts.. hope they faq this

We now have to take them as Allies.

What changes have you guys spotted?

Swarms now heal D3 without needing to be near terrain.
 
If I see it right they aren't seraphon in any way anymore... no keyword, no synergies between them and other seraphon units and no summoning spells for the Slann on their warscrolls... hope we get some replacement for them one day...
 
Wait a minute.. they are not Seraphon allegiance ?? What ? How does that make sense ? The moment I found them thought " woohoo there we go, options for the skink leaders " . Wow, are you sure about this guys ? That they have to be allies ??? Ally with a SKINK ?
 
It's the missing keyword... non of them has the SERAPHON keyword... and if my information is right this allegiance thing is about keywords... a unit can only be XY-allegiance if it has the XY keyword...
 
If I was a new player to AoS...

where would I go to find a warscroll for a NON COMPENDIUM unit that does not have a new Battletome? example. Stormfiends?

Where would I go to find Battallion rules for that particular Allegience? example Skryre?

Well that was dissapointing perhaps.At keast they are not considered unique so u can have more than 1 on your army...
 
Someown should rly ask them if they forgat they keyword seraphon or that we as seraphon cant use em as seraphon but as Order
 
I don't think you need to ask that. It's pretty clear they are phasing out many older edition Heros/Units from various armies.

Yes you can still use them with your Seraphon but your Seraphon become Order Allegiance and who would do that now that Seraphon have awesome new toys to play with?

New toys? U mean the artifacts and the new battalions right?
 
They did it intentionally indeed. They pretty much destroyed Dispossessed heroes .. I know that their goal is to have a range of miniatures that doesn't look like any other company but still hurts. The old classic dwarves are lovely in appearance. It's a shame they want them to go..

Look at Vampire counts. All the Von Carstein are gone,
HE? goodbye Teclis
TK? the Whole army is now literally unplayable.

What they were truly saying was "Old discontinued armies will still be playable... but we don't want it".

So yeah, discontinued lizardmen cannot be legally played with new Seraphon. They don't have the keyword and cannot ally.

Yup thats right.But makes u wonder why they even bothered changing the names and the scrolls such a waste of time instead of using those names on making idk maybe NEW seraphon models ?
