AoS New Player 1000 pt list

I just recently got into warhammer as a whole and age of sigmar. I have the below available, and am wondering what I should be utilizing to build a 1000 pt list.

1 troglodon
1 saurus old blood
1 skink starpriest
1 scar veteran on a cold one
3 kroxigors
24 skinks
12 saurus warriors
8 saurus knights
1 start collecting box

I'm not really sure what I should be using from my second start collecting box. I've played a couple of games against a buddy who was running iron Jaws, and I've gotten swept each time. I picked up the skinks to add some range to my army, but haven't used them yet.
Are there any units that I should go pick up?

Welcome to Lustria!

At the moment you have a bit of hodgepodge of everything. You should definitely build a Carnosaur with your second SCbox.

Thank you! Yes it's been a journey, thought kroxigors were cool so I picked them up, then thought I could use my 3 left over saurus Knights by getting a scar veteran on a cold one and making them a firelance starhost, then got destroyed against iron Jaws multiple times so figured I'd get some range with the skinks. Picked up a second start collecting box somewhere in the middle there, and here I am.

Warhammer is a journey. Keep moving and you will get there
