Hello fellow lizardmen!

Is it now possible to move your limits after LoSaT.

It just says it has to happen at the end of the movement phase.

If I read the core rules it just says that the movement phase must start whit a movement of a unit.

What do you guys think?

The general consensus is that End of Phase actions have to be taken after all other phase actions are taken. Once an End of Phase action has occurred then only other End of Phase actions may occur.
 
Of course, but actions that are not specified when in a phase they should occur can happen anytime in that's phase even in the end of the phase.

In the movement phase it's only the first unit that has to make a move in the beginning of the phase to start of the phase, the rest of the are free to move throughout the phase.

I might misinterpret the core rules, but if not you should now be able to move them after.

So, would you then argue that things which happen at the start of a phase do not have to happen before any other actions that occur in a phase?
 
Things that happens in the start of the phase, happens in the start of the phase.

Things that are unspecified can occur in the start of the phase as well as in the end of the phase.

At the start or at the end are not by default specified as before anything else or after all other things because there are moves/abilities that can happen when ever in a phase.

That's what I'm arguing, it sounds a bit silly but I hope you understand.

I understand what you are getting at. I don't think there is a good rule for it at the moment. I only know how it is commonly interpreted by Tournament Organizers.

How do you define the Start of Phase, the regular Phase, and the End of the Phase?
 
I understand and that's exactly the knowledge I love about this community!

That's the hard part it's only defined beginning and end, apart from that it's in my opinion undefined.

I'll have to sleep on it and hopefully give you a better definition tomorrow.
 
It would be great if GW were to further explain Start and End of phase actions.

At the moment it is a language and ration based argument. If something occurs at the start of a phase then presumable it cannot be preformed after any action that occurs outside of the Start. As it would no longer be the start of that phase. Same goes for the End. If something is done at the end of phase then presumably nothing which has to be done before the end of phase can be done now that it is the end of that phase.

Overall, it is a vague and ill defined rule.

Put it this way: the rule could have been written in a different way or with an addendum ("...and the unit cannot move"). I grant you that.
But actually this is the way GW writes this kind of rules: when something happens at the end of the move phase, it means that normal movements have been completed and you can only do these special "moves"
 
Wasn't it defined somewhere that "end of phase" and "start of phase" abilities technically all happen simultaniously as the first/last thing in a phase? It's just that since a player usually only has 2 hands we get to execute them one by one for practical purposes.
