7th Ed. New LM player, hello every1 :D

hey all

i'm a new lm player and a new warhammer player generally..
Playing warhammer for about 8months now, started with VC but i sold them 2 buy my lovely LM army i have now

i have only played 2 games with the following list which is first 1 generally and i went quite well
1 game vs HE stardragon list i won with 670points and 1 game vs Dwarf general list that i won by 1300points

i'm sure that my list can be improved to something a lot better thats why i'm asking u

We have some general rules in my gamegroup like no double rare units no triple special and at least 1 nonmage character. we use 6 random terrains at a 4'x6' table. max 2250 points list.

So? any suggestions?

First of all welcome..

Some minor things.. Way too much points in your Slann and your Temple Guards. You don't need the Terror nor the Sun Standard. You got a big Engine near you for a 5 + ward save which should be enough. War machines don't roll to hit. I think even those Power Stones are not needed.. You get enough from the Focussed Rumination. Also SR(3) Is Unfathomable Presence? Magic Resistance? Not needed, just dispel.

I myself barely use Dispel scrolls.. a Diadem on a Steg is good enough. You can get 8 DD .. if that ain't enough then well.. shoot your skink.

Skink chief is IMHO too much points if you use him as a War Machine Hunter.. Don't know what else you need him for though..Drop the Amulet I'd say.

15 Saurus is enough.. no need for the Champ as well. The one Extra Attack ain't that pretty.

Temple guards can be dropped down to 16. 3 Extra ranks is more than enough with a BSB in it.. Im not sure if you can pick the War Banner as Magic Standard.. for 15 points you might get something else.

I'd say get some Cold One Riders.. Some Salamanders or Razordons. They will be a nice extra bite.
