7th Ed. New Lizard Player

Hi all! I am starting a new lizardmen army and i would like some help!
I used to play warriors of chaos so i am not familiar with any of the lizards tactics and i have one big question:
i am about to buy these models for 250 euros and i want to know if it's worthing(cause of the 8th edtion coming)

1 slaan

70 + skinks

30 Saurus Warriors

26 cold one knights

8 cold one knights in their box

3 Kroxigors

30 temple guard

4 stegadons

3 salamanters

+5 characters

all of these i know that cost more than 400 euro but will be playable after the 8th ed?

p.s the guy unfortunetely doesn't sell them seperately

wow that's quite a list.

-with the new lores, the slann will be a killer, nice to have
-70 skinks might be overkill. but if you want to use some cohorts and skirmishers that's not a bad thing. i don't like cohorts though...
-The saurus look nice. are they with spears or hw?
-36 cold one riders is way to much as you probably won't use a single one of them. I liked them in 7th, but in 8th they will suck. Striking at I order, no rank breaking... all very bad stuff for this expensive cav unit, add in the well known problem of stupidity and you've got yourself a unit worthy of the bin only.
-krox are getting slightly better, stomp attacks and 3 wide ranks are a good thing. I might try a unit of 6 when 8th is out...
-ah the good old temple guard, I'm still not sure if they will be as good as they were. the miscasting table really hurts and you risk killing your entire 250+ points unit of temple guard with one failed spell... These guys need play testing if the risk is acceptable. Cupped hands and soul of stone give us hope though
-4 stegadons? Could be fun, I only use 1 in my lists but i only have 1 so i have no experience using more.
-salamanders will be a nobrainer in 8th edition if they don't get FAQ'ed to death. get these babies and mabye more of them
-characters are a good thing, always handy to have.

It sure is a good deal, but you have to take in account that the cold ones will probably not be of any use and unless you will be using a dual slann in temple guard list you won't need 30 Temple Guard. I hope this helped. I'm still thinking about 8th as well...having bought 16 cold ones some time ago for a carno/cold one list

i also think that cold ones won't be very playable but since he sells the entire army all together i have to buy them.
and about the 4 stegadons it's overplay, i know
anyway, i also think it's a good deal and the 8th ed won't be any bad for the lizards
