ive used similiar lists in the past to decent succes. my opponets really hate the engines and dont know how to deal. its pretty simple, blast away with magic(slann with TG) get into combat with saurus and TG if needed. flame with sallies.

right then. Firstly I would make the TG up to 16 to make frontage five with slann or is the slann running solo?
I would drop the Soul of stone so you have the points for the extra TG. It's Rod of Storm BTW
I'm sorry I don't have any advice on the Bane Head or drum but I have never Used eather

Other than that Looks solid but lets see what the others say about It

you can't give your scar veteran a hide of the cold one and a cold one mount, it says in the description of the item, use these points and invest in light armor instead and beefing up the saurus and temple guard. i like having a full unit of 20 strong warriors rather than 15 because it is just that much harder to kill them and make them run(same with TG) but other than that your list looks very solid. hope this helps
