Hey folks please help me out to adjust and fix things up to make it a decent playable list

Slann Focus of Mystery, higher state of consciousness, BSB

30x Saurus Warriors spears+FC
30x Saurus Warriors spears+FC

26x temple Guard FC

Stegadon

10x Skink Skirmishers
10x Skink Skirmishers

total cost is about 1960 points




Please let me know what should I adjust to make this a solid list. thank you in advance

Pretty solid. I'd change out Higher State of Consciousness for Focused Rumination and pick up a magic item like Cupped Hands. What lore are you going to use?

I'd hesitate on taking a single Stegadon, depending on who you are facing. I haven't used them in this edition yet, but everyone will tell you that a cannon will take one down fairly easily. That means it's probably best to run with at least 2 of them. You may want to consider swapping the Stegadon out for 3 Salamanders.

Also, if you drop the spears you will save 60 points. With that and the extra 40ish points you have left over you can get a skink scroll caddy.

Purchased army second hand, no extra bits...i would personally prefer hw/s combo over spears myself.


I was thinking I would try lore of Life.

What are your thoughts on Cold One Cavalry ? I know they are very expensive and suffer from stupidity but there is that cheap Standard of Discipline to reduce chances of failing stupidity check. How about just a naked unit of 5 ? For added punch on enemy flanks ?

I have to say that switching from my Skaven army this is a big change. Army is much smaller, nothing is expendable, really.
