Plaque of Tepok on the Skink priest will make him alot more effective. At 500 points I would drop the Saurus to 15 to free up some more points.

What about:

5 Chameleon Skinks

Getting 3 ranks of Saurus and 4 ranks with the skinks, chamo will be good for harrassing and a skink priest with 3 spells will be damn useful flying around.

Thanks for the ideas. I thought the 20 saurus were a little overkill. Also I agree on the plaque.

Always take standard bearers and musicians at least. If you have skink heroes in those units of skinks, take the champion too. That way, you can sacrifice a champion to some uber character and get at least one more turn from your hero.

I disagree he put a musician and standard bearer on his saurus unit.

I presume the small 50 point skink unit didnt need the upgrades as it is probably there to act as a 4+ ward save for his skink priest. 50 point ward save that can throw down some javelins and sacrafice itself if needed.

I see no point in adding any additional musicians/standard bearers than either of us suggested.

Sorry I just realised the Skink priest with level 2, plaque of tepok and cloak of feathers would mean you were over you hero point allowance I'm not 100% which one I would keep =S
