So, except for once at the beginning of each alternate game turn (enemy's turn) you get to choose which combat to complete first - Yes, little saurus warrior, you have the initiative. (Thank you Sigmar Claus!)

- Wary Skink chaff move - possibly robs enemy combat block of 2 rounds of combat
- combat where enemy numbers can be reduced such that there are none left to "step up" in their pile in phase. (there are less model remaining than space for them to step up into.)
Initiative important.
- neutralise opponent's wary chaff
Initiative desirable but not needed
- Have a big block, can take a few wounds. Yawn.
- have a big regenerating space frog.
