So I'm wondering what people think about using the frog on the steg with all his awesome rules and 18" leadership bubble. I really want to use him with the lore of light but with him being on a dino I'm thinking more life now with the regen on the steg and being able to give wounds back? What do people think

Regen? Why not T10?

Or maybe both... both, both is good.

It's also fun when people cannonball you, and they don't wound on 2+.

The issue here is that most of his rules are quite ordinary. It's a regular stegadon with regular rules. Doesn't he have a BSB with magic banner though? And loremaster of any of the BRB lores.

I believe you can have the same items within the same amount of points by buying it seperate. I'm not sure I'd my super expensive dino slann smashed into a unit where he risks his life.

Mazda is so overpriced it hurts. Also he just gets skillcannoned out of the battlefield on turn 1-2.
No reason to take him ever.
Zlaaq doesnt even have sharpened horns.

I don't have the army book in font of me but I don't think they have a combined stat line so old Mazi can be targeted individually in combat. You aren't going to rush a Slaan into combat but that's exactly what you want to do with a Steg. If I'm correct I think it makes him unplayable .

I'd love to see a model for Mazi but he would need to have a serious 'End Times' upgrade in my opinion.

Now Mazi riding a Steg with a Scar Vet body guard (like the Glotkin) would be interesting with a combined stat line!!
