Ok, got hold of my new book now and after reading through i have made a few changes.
Please take a look and tell me what you think. Does it work? Any changes you would make? Any tactics advice.
Slann (500)
-Reservoir of Energy, Soul of Stone, Becalming Cogitations, Focus of Mystery
-Dispel Scroll, Egg of Quango
-BSB, Standard of Discipline
Lots of magic, with an eggy surprise. Joins the 35 saurus unit.
Gor-Rok (185)
After reading his rules he’s such a boss I wanted to take him. He adds stubborn to the unit as well as being a bit of a beat stick. T6 and 2+ armour are awesome.
Skink Chief (94)
-Spear, Light Armour, Charmed Shield, Potion of Foolhardiness, Ripperdactyl
Skink Chief (94)
-Spear, Light Armour, Enchanted Shield, Dragon Bane Gem, Ripperdactyl
These two add a quirky element that also serves a purpose if ignored by the enemy. Str 5 with their spears on the charge plus the ripper mount should easily clear a war machine each a turn if ignored. If they are shot at it means my stegs are not, so it’s all good either way. Quirky because one can ignore a cannon ball on a 2+ and the other can against flaming cannon balls (which are getting more frequent with dwarfs and daemons especially).
35 Saurus (415)
-Spears, Full Command
30 Saurus (360)
-Hand Weapons, Full command
35 is the Slann and Gor-Rok’s unit, spears to take the charge and hold. 30 unit flanks or faces up itself.
8 Chameleon Skinks (104)
8 Chameleon Skinks (104)
War Machine Hunters.
Bastiladon (150)
-Solar Engine
Supports the saurus blocks.
3 Ripperdactyls (120)
3 Ripperdactyls (120)
Love the idea and their Blot toad drops can also benefit the Skink Chiefs if they charge the unit with it. Also chaff clearers.
Ancient Stegadon (250)
-Sharpened Horns
Ancient Stegadon (250)
-Sharpened Horns
Ancient Stegadon (250)
-Sharpened Horns
They are what they are. Awesome.
