So after playing with the loremaster high magic, i kinda came with the idea;
Scar vets are cheap, strong and solid as a rock!
What if we increase them due beast magic?
So after a while i started play testing with beast magic, got my slann level 4 and a level 2 skink, giving me all the spells i need
Pro's of beast magic
Wild heart;
spells get a -1 to cast when target, on anything from cavalry or larger, hellow stegadon, scar vet, bastiladon
combine this with a engine of the gods and u get a -2 to all the casting values when targeting our beasties, kinda solid isnt it?
wyssans wildform;
the basic +1 str and toughness, cast on a 10+; its good, we all know it is.
Can be used to boost the str of skinks while javalin shooting, where u have no combat, tho u have some dice left.
cast this on a steggy or a scar vet, and see the enemy cry! Casting this on a 8+ with a level 4 slann, means easy 2 dicing!
Flock of doom;
okay, its not that good, 2d6 str 2 hits with 24 inch range, mehhh, maybe we could use this to target that annoying spirit host, or fanatic or something u really dont like, but i would only use thise when i have dice left.
panns impenetrable pelt
toughness 8 scar vet? i would sign this anyday! makes our hardly to kil scarvets, even more solid! We dont need anvils, we have scar vets! And again, easy cast value
The amber spear
what do lizardmen lack? warmachines that are able to take out deamon princes, and all those peasky high save models!
Well here it is! a bolth thrower and a cannon in 1 spell, and we can abuse our little skink for line of sight purpose, caus it is a magic missle!
The curse of anraheir
This is probably ma favourite spell in the warhammer book!
So much abuse, units failing dangerous terrain on a 1-2 is huge!, the -1 to hit in combat and shooting makes, skinks harder to hit with shooting, and saurus become little easier to hit with combat. Major good spell!
Also the dirty trick is; put this spell on a unit , target the unit with sallies, hope they fail there panic test, Ow they flee? okay dangerous terrain on 1-2, thinning out units, CHECK! i love this spell.
The savage beast of horros
lets be honest, scar vets are beast, with these, they are just utterly demolishing!
Scar vet with great weapon on cold one? hellow 7 str 10 attacks with predaotyr fighter!
boost the guy that can take on knights on his own, let him charge what he wants, he will take the beating, shrug it off and show them how its done!, again easy casting value and wonderfull help on the field!.

Not that usefull since slann cant do it, but what if u really used all yoru jack of trades, and suddenly..
let me charge my skinkpriest in the flank and toss 6 dice to becme a mountain chimera?
It is a funny fact when this works and the skink will make work of the magic, also it is a remains in play, meaning the enemy needs todispell the 20+ spell with his power dice
Con's of beast magic
Not really much magic damage out put , support this with bastiladons and its back on line
no really game changing spell like, pit, dwellers, okams, .. ALltho kadon may work wonders
for the rest, i dont really see any flaws in this magic
Overall view;
Beasts magic works well for me, this is in combination , wtih 2 cowboys, a engine reducing my casting values and giving me an extra magic missle (which lore of beasts lacks), and a bastiladon for yet an other magic damage output when i feel i dont really need the beast spells.
Dont know how u guys think this works for u , but i am feeling the love here
