No - pieces of terrain is the things you generate and place on the field. In your pizza example, "pieces of terrain" would be pizza topping.Ixt said:You say that the Fanatics' wording is different, but the wording simply says, 'pieces of terrain.'
If you're calling open ground 'terrain,' then isn't it essentially a large 'piece of terrain' (or, rather, many pieces)? Isn't a 'slice of pizza' still 'pizza'? o.0
And it got FAQd for a reason. For a similar scenario, check out the "What is a succesful cast" discussion going on, primarily because of Dark Acolyte. Dark acolyte told you to apply it after a successful cast (adding to the cast value), but got FAQ'd to be BEFORE dispels. This technically means "succesful casts" happen before dispels, which is obviously not true - It got FAQ'd because it was obviously poorly written.
Ixt said:"Does not affect the game" is pretty clear-cut, in my opinion. To me, that takes precedence.SilverFaith said:The word "all" is as inclusive as they come, and claiming it doesn't include something, despite no indications that it shouldn't, is rulesbending, in my opinion at least.
So it takes precedence over another rule being equally clear in "All terrain is threated as difficult"?
