8th Ed. Lizardmen at 800 points

Hi guys.

I'm looking for some help with tactics for the School League. It's 800 points, 25% max. for Lord/Hero total, min. 25% core, up to 50% special, and no more than 25% rare.

My List is as follows:

Scar veteran w./ shield and gold sigil sword (I10) = 103
Skink priest w./ diadem of power = 90
20 Saurus w./ Full Command = 250
16 Skinks with blowpipes = 112
3 Kroxigor = 165
1 Salamander w./ handler = 80

TOTAL: 800

How should I use this list, from a tactical point of view? It will be difficult to change it as I have few models apart from those listed.

At the Regional Heats, I used the Saurus and Kroxigor to form my centre. I used then skinks and the salamander on the flanks. The scar veteran is a nasty surprise with his I10 , and the priest is useful to reduce the impact of enemy magic and occasionally managed to cast a spell.

What do you guys think?

Maybe a dispell scroll or cube of darkness to stop most casting... But that to me seems like a solid list...

I agree. I would lean toward the cube if you could, but a dispel scroll at this points level is almost the same thing.

We once had a tournament on 800 points, and every De playerd had a Hydra, So, i Have to recomend some falming attacks, a block of sauruses, a priest just for the signature, and 2 units of 1 Salamander If you have the models.

add in 4extra skirmishers zo u get two units of ten, add in some chamelions kinks =)

FI like the list you have going so far. Very solid. I only have one idea for ya. I would drop a skink and get LA for your SV so he is just a tad more survivable.
