hey, here is my first Lizard Armylist in 8th. trying to focus on the wonderfull skinks as blockers with deadly Javelins

Skink Priest, lvl 2, dispell Scroll, plaque of Tepok, EoTG.

Core:

interesting list and welcome to the forum.

I may be wrong but i don't think the skink preist can take BOTH plaque of tepok and a dispell scroll as they are both arcane items and a preist may only take 1 arcane item i believe.

Could be wrong though, but i think thats right.

Thanks ;P, yea i see that now. only 1 arcane item per Char. but i think for hard-magic army´s i would use dispell scroll, and else i go for the tepoke. and hope i get some dmg stuff. cuz think i go Life with my slann preaty nasty to have T8 saurus´ plus thorns think it gonna hurt. btw forgot to say that the slann can choose 3 Diciplines. my favorite is Focus, Rumination and Beclaming Cogitation.

I would work in standards in all those units. It could be the deciding factor in combat resolution.

why do you need that second temple guard i think you should get more saurus with it

Slanny has a point. You should up the one unit of TG to 20 (with full command). Then the rest can be other things for your army. More saurus or even some Kroxigors in those cohorts.

Could be nice. but my plan with the skinks was to fire alot jav´s, and then flee if some one bigger than me ( allmost everything XD) and that´s why only musician. and when my saurus´ come in combat, i would flank charge with the skinks so i negate the rank bonus of the attacker because they are more than 1 rank. and that TG unit was just a fill out. think im gonna change em to some saurus´ and maybe some salamanders for some panic.

saurus are probably better for this.

I know TG are expensive points wise but i wonder if they would work as a hard hitting unit to lead the line supported by saurus units, they are str 5 with 2 attacks with a good save after all.
