Greetings. I would like to share my planned armylist for coming games that follow ETC 2012 Draft 2 rules -> Link here http://warhammer.org.uk/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=99850 Basic: Max 2 DP and max 2 DD and Max 2 disciplines. Max 6 Skink units of anykind. max 2x Scar veteran.

Im not at home where my armybook is so i threw all points from memory. Might be few points + or -

I was thinking I play double slann with metal and light. Because my worst enemy always seems to be heavily armoured and ward save blocks and just blocks that can defeat my 30 man SW blocks (light has some nice buffs). Skinks can solve anything with low armor save so metal would bring needed support for list. With light lore initiate test wont bring problems. It seems I played last week with bit different list ( I had only 1 Chameleont skink unit and 1 slann. instead I had 1 ancient stegadon and 2 smaller SW block) It seems stegadon and temple guards are very fragile. I didn’t drop TG just beefed them. I really need only 2 big block and not fragile ones … maybe light can help with added models.. I just love 2x Scar veterans that go mobile. They always kill something. Sometimes they can kill alone whole units. (Last game my scar vet charged 30 Grave guard with vampire lord. It killed vampire lord alone in a challenge and hold that unit in place while i mopped up rest of the army)

That TG champion item is good when u think that if u get 1 wound to enemy character that has 2 wound you get 50% of its point cost for victory points with ETC draft 2 ! :)

I face lists like this so its quite challenging. This list is good for thinking what i lack and what i need to response coming threats.

Take Rumination on the other Slann. That way you can be sure to 2 or 3 dice the LoM spells. If the "extra dice" per spell to cast counts as +1 PD, then nevermind that. Go for Soul of Stone.

Drop 4 TG (or 5-6 Saurus), 1 Chameleon, and 1 whole unit of Skirmishers and get yourself another Salamander and a Razordon. Also, I'd drop your extra handlers. The odds of you losing all of them in one game is pretty slim. Maybe just add one extra handler per unit if you want to be safe.

Three Sallies will rip up those infantry blocks, like Marauders. The Razordon will come in handy for multi-wound models like Ogres and such.

EDIT: Changed suggestions to better accommodate the ETC rules.
 
Salamanders are 0-1 unfort so if you wanted to have three sallies they all have to travel together.

I'd vote rumination as well with the same qualifier if rumination counts as +PD.
 
I have tons of problems with Woch too, don't worry, they own us, Especially when they are immune to poison and death spells like the lord that You've showns.

I once had a good result on a ETC tournamet with a lits like this: Slann with heaven. rumination, mystery, divine plaque. 2 cowboys 2 skinks one with scrol one with cube, 3x10 skirmish 3x10 chamelons, 3 slamanders 26kohort with krox and some terradons. Temple Guard aren't that good... allthough now there is a limit in throwing Shadow and Death spells, so they might come in handy, but solo Slann is better off.
the main thing you have to know while making ETC draft 2 army list is to a)throw 3 salamanders and b) use up all your skink slots:)
 
Also I don't think your second scar veteran has a weapon chosen. Gonna drop the shield and get a GW?
 
First ETC is 2400 pts, your slanns come to more then 600?

Maybe You can find 12 points to split the cammo's in 3

True WoC is always a challenge. Especially friend of mine always has those 3x marauder hordes coming at me.

I have 2 list that i want opinions. I tried to take slann without and with TG. WHat u like?

One worry: Does my Skink skirmishers, terradon skinks, chameleont skinks and salamanders skink ALL count towards the 6 unit of skink limit?

"A maximum total of 6 Skink, Chameleon skinks and Skink Cohorts units combined maybe taken in an army (Cohorts containing kroxigor or numbering above 20 models do not count for this restriction"

How do u guys feel for that priest? Should i turn it to something else or add 3th salamander to unit of salamanders

As stated death / shadow is nerfed to have 4 Power dice max per spell. So that wont scare me with becalming cogitation and light. Thats why i think TG should be included
 
Hello Only Skink Skirmisher, and Skink Kohort count toward the "skink" limit. Preist Slamander and terradont Don't.

I would highly recomend Rumination, 2 Extra dice for the first two spells are better then cupped hands of the old ones. Cogitation is a Good Thig only on 2 Slanns, If you go with 1 Beefed up slann, put 2 priest with Dispel Scroll and Cube. Taht way they won't cast that Pit of Shades/Purple sun easilly:)
Dragonbane is for what? most flaming attacks are ranged and you've got ranged attacks...
