8th Ed. Lizardman sculpt from Avatars of War

well i'll be damned. Rikard from The Pyramid Vault actually did it :)
 
I absolutely love this model. I love a majority of the Avatar of War range. So much detail. I'm going to replace my old-blood with this one for sure.
 
Yeah I saw that lad yesterday, looks really awesome if a little pricey.

Haha see this guy in progress for a long time, glad to see him released finally. Hope to buy him someday when I can afford it, and when I have time to paint more minis.
 
I think I finally found a model worthy of being my Lizardmen's BSB. I like to have my BSB be the center of my army as it fits fluff that an army centers itself around their banner. So naturally I want to have a guy whom looks great. I think with a tad bit of conversion to hold the banner this'll make a truely awesome center peice.

All you would need is to saw off the top of the GW/Halberd and expand from there a Banner. Very straightforward conversion me thinks. :P
 
12 euros isnt that bad for the model
very tempted to buy one and run it as my Oldblood :P
 
That model would make a great Kroxigor lord (from another thread around here).

That's exactly what I was thinking! Maybe use some brass rod to form the core of the banner pole and work out...
