AoS Kroak 1500 list

I'm fairly new to AoS and there is going to be a small 1500pt tournament at my local gaming club. Probably not more than 4-6 players (as most of us mainly play 40k). Do you think this list could work? I will probably face beastclaw raiders, stormcast, khorne bloodbound, moonclan and maybe some skaven. Grateful for any advice you can give me.

I've run Kroak+Vortex at 1,500 points together with an eternal starhost with a lot of succes. Kroak served to protect the guards against mortal wounds.

Your list looks good too though - lotsa wounds and mobility.

Maybe you could consider the stegadon instead of the bastiladon for the D6 move for either the skinks or the stegadon itself (for example if you needed to teleport the stegadon into your enemies back lines). I can't quite remember the point cost, but I think you could also drop the salamander then and get a priest in there for some re-roll run/charge/save buffs.

Yes if I remember correctly the stegadon is 240pts. So it should be enough for a skink priest. Would you go for the bow or the flamerhrowers? I have not used the stegadon before.

Sounds like a fun change. The stegadon model is awesome

Most go with the bow but if your facing hordes flamethrowers can do good damage if you get the steggy in range.

Hmm yea I think the bow will work better here, I tend to face alot of heroes and monsters. The Khorne player usually have alot of reavers though.

Kroak should be able to crack a Reaver nut.
