Can KO players Fly High instead of moving d6 when using redeploy? Came up in a recent game of mine and wanted to check if its legal.

From their FAQ it does appear to apply to moves like scent tracking from the alpha beast pack battalion. But in those abilities it uses the language "normal move" this is absent from redeploy

Fly high says you can do it instead of a normal move or retreat, and redeploy is neither of those, so no.

How can u tell if a move is considered a normal move? It will always specifically state 'normal move' in the text?

Yes, when you can do certain things, the ability specify if "instead of making a normal move" or "it counts as a move".
Redeploy just lets you do a d6 move.
