Hey I've been painting seraphon for a year now because I love the models and am just learning how to play. I got the old start collecting box already painted and the new skink one half through now. I built the trogolodon with oldblood on the ground and am currently deciding on ripperdactyls or terradons

I'm wondering what a good 1000 point list would look like just using these two boxes. Also looking for some ideas for future model purchases for upgrading the army.

You can search on some of the 1000 points lists on the forum to see what matches your models.

Some other memebers can give you more specific advise

Please post some photos of what you have been painting in hobby forum. There are a few great ways to expand your army. If you aren't concerned with being competitive then I suggest leaning into a theme. If there is a particular unit you really like then start collecting some of them. If you are looking to be competitive then here is a short list of great buys:

  • Lord Kroak
  • Malign Sorcery (Particularly Geminids of Ulgysh)
  • Bale Wind Vortex
  • Saurus Astrolioth Bearer
  • Salamanders
  • Lots of Skinks
  • Skink Priest

As far as building a list with your Two SC boxes give this a try:

Allegiance: Seraphon

Leaders:
Saurus Oldblood (110)
- General
- Warblade
- Command Trait: Dominant Predator
- Artefact: Eviscerating Blade
Skink Oracle on Troglodon (260)
- Celestial Harmony

10 x Saurus Warriors (90)
- Clubs

Units:
3 x Terradon Riders (90)
- Sunleech Bolas

Behemoths:
Bastiladon (220)

Total: 990 / 1000
Extra Command Points: 0
Allies: 0 / 200
Wounds: 60

Your Wizards and Bastiladons are going to be relied on to get most of the work done. The Knights can also do some moderate damage when buffed by the Skink Priest's Serpent Staff and Koatl's Claw traits on the charge.
