AoS Is the battleforce a good starting force?

Hey guys I am planning to pickup the seraphon battleforce this weekend and would like to know if it is a good starting force. Below is what I am planning to build them as:

Skink starpriest
Sauraus oldblood carnosaur
Skinks
3 terradon riders
3 ripperdactyls
Bastiladon (with the solar engine)

I'm new to seraphon not too sure on the rules however I think this will be a good starting force. Thanks for your comments and appreciate the help

Ok, the shadowstrike battalion is the one where the rippers can appear within 3 inches of enemy models right?

It doesnt take much work to make the Bastiladon modular so that you can switch between the two configurations.
