Oldblood, 282 points
Cold One, Great Weapon
Crown of Command (stubborn)
Dawnstone (re-roll armour save)
Armour of Fortune (5+ ward)

With W3 and a 1++/5+ save at T5 he is very tough. A5 S7 plus a cold one's attack are pretty decent.

A S1-3 hit has a 0.3% chance of wounding, he has an expectation of being hit 972 times before all 3 wounds are lost.
A S4 hit has a 0.6% chance of wounding, expectation of 486.
A S5 hit has a 3.7% chance of wounding, expectation of 81.
A S6 hit has a 11% chance of wounding, expectation of 27.

This guy is there to charge into that uber block of Chaos Chosen/Black Guard/Deathstar early on in the game and then hold them in place for a long, long time (time enough to be charged in the flank by something nasty, for example, or for the 500+point enemy unit to have earned 0 points by being locked there for many turns). He is vulnerable to KB. He would be ideal in a bigger game (2.5k at least, more likely 3k), supported by a Lore of Life Slann to pop his wounds back!

I would not put him on a carnosaur, since if one were to take a carnosaur lord then the best kit would be [4+ ward heavy armour/dawnstone/other trickster's shard/GW].
