I mentioned lacreys in passing in a few of my fluff pieces.

Here is the article I wrote on them.

Lacreys are extremely common. They act as garbage service for Lustria eating carrion, rotting vegetation, and poop. They grow large enough that many things eat them, including Skinks. Read the article for the dietary recommendations from the master Skink ranger Tal-Lat.

I was vague on what lacrey's look like. If someone wants to draw one or use a photo of a real world insect that fits the bill, let me know. Otherwise I might get around to using an AI art program to make one. While I have seen some people make amazing fictional creatures with AI art programs, I am a newbie at this and it's a long learning curve for me to get better at it. At least for me, it is far easier for me to use the programs to make objects than it is to make living creatures.

As the muses strike me, I may create more insects to populate Lustria with and I might post them here or in their own articles, whatever is preferred.
