8th Ed. how many salamander packs in 2000

How many would you guys use in a 2000pt list ? I am having a hard time trying to fit them in due to the points they cost but could probably have up to 3...

According to my calculations, you can max out on them at 2000 pts. (2 packs of 3) Depends on how much of a jerk you want to be.

I don't leave home without at least two.

I normally take two units of two when I go to 2000pts. If I go higher, I will take two units of 3. At 3k, I will go with three units of two.

I do not care if I am a Jerk.

Yeah I often have a unit of two and a unit of one with the extra handler, but that's mostly a matter of models then points. I'd love to plop down two units of two, because my regular opponents hate them...
