Why not charge the hero out alone and slowly move the unit around into the flank of the enemy? the character is either in a unit or not in a unit, in both cases the only way for the enemy to get their unit unstuck from combat is to kill the character, and killing the character is just as hard in both cases (assuming your unit is striking last which is highly probably), therefore there is no increased ability to hold the enemy up (which is the purpose of a stubborn unit yes?) wether the character is alone or if he is accompanied. So why tie the unit to the character when the combined setup produces the same results as running the character alone?msinosic said:Place a stubborn character in a unit and the unit becomes stubborn itself. Saurus character on a Cold one near the Horn of Kygor in a unit of Saurus for example. Thats how your meant to use the Horn of Kygor.

It seems stupid to put a item on a character that makes the enemy cav fear them, when they already cause fear (or terror) due to the mount.
