8th Ed. help with lores?

Guys can you help me with lores?
Tommorow I will have a game vs skaven and vampires.
For skaven I was thinking of taking lore of death and for vamps light, will this be a good idea?

Remember you can't pick a lore every time you play, you have to choose it when you write a list,
With that in mind, take death,
Since both armies rely HEAVILY on their characters

In 8th, you should either write your list around the lore you choose, or choose a lore that works best with your list. What are you planning on bringing?

death is indeed good, and killing a skaven general can put a dent into their steadfast units. same with vampires since the ystart to crumble.

otherwise go for life. buff your units and then spam the dwellers below on their biggest/meanest units. skaven have allmost exclusivley S3 and vampires have S2 and 3 on their hordes, and you might even get a vampire down with it
