AoS Help with army 2k

Hi everyone.
I use to play the old ones in fantasy but my gaming group have decided to give aos a go. So here is the list I have come up with but as I'm new to aos I could use the pointers.
Skink priest, trappings
Skink starpreist
Bastilladon, sunbeam
Stegadon, bow
Firelance starhost
Carnasour
3 x 5 saurus knights
Sunclaw starh ost
Sunblood
2 x 10 saurus warrior's
1 x 20 saurus warrior's.

I'm planning on buying a start collecting box which will mean I have all the models plus a slaan. So is this the best way to run what I have and the best way to spend my hard earned cash?

I would probably not play more than one bataillon in a 2k game. That way the "bataillon" tax is just too much.

The fire lance starhost has been found (by me) to be wanting at 5x3 knights. That’s likely to be only 15 1/6 chances to deal an extra mortal wound on the charge and the other bonuses are kinda weak imo. Teleporting 5 knights at something you want to kill (so now you get extra charge distance) isn’t that scary. I think I’d run 3x10 knights next time I go firelance
